Il est ici question de la vie et de la mort, du deuil, d’une petite Julie qui, suite à la disparition de sa grand-mère, est restée durant trois semaines avec son chien, dans une cave, à côté de son corps. Interrogée à ce sujet par un psychiatre, la fillette est amenée à raconter comment sa grand-mère, avant de mourir, lui a promis qu’elles se retrouveraient toutes les deux dans un endroit dont elle n’avait, jusque-là, jamais entendu le nom… « Pacamambo est une pièce de théâtre proche du conte philosophique qui part de la plus radicale des réalités, la mort, pour nous amener dans un univers merveilleux, fait observer Joseph Olivennes, un univers où le rire et le songe l’emportent sur une réalité parfois douloureuse. » Sous la direction du jeune metteur en scène, Pamina, Jock Maitland, Rafaële Minnaert, Vianney Ledieu et Aoife Hinds incarnent les différents protagonistes de cette fable empreinte d’imaginaire. Une fable au sein de laquelle la légèreté et la dérision permettent de dépasser le réel en sublimant nos peurs.
