La scène s’ouvre sur la photographie d’un groupe de danseurs, immobiles face public, laissant la musique imposer sa présence et sa puissance à travers le fameux « Shine on you crazy diamonds » des Pink Floyd. Années soixante-dix, mais pas celles hippies du groupe mythique : filles façon barbie girl ou « perfect female » en mini-jupes et haut perchées, hommes en costards bien taillés, lunettes noires et flingues à gogo… ils semblent tout droit venus d’un film d’espionnage d’où ils puisent directement leur langage corporel. Le chorégraphe a choisi d’embarquer le spectateur dans une histoire mystérieuse faite de bagarres viriles, de vols de mallettes, de courses-poursuites, et d’échappée belles vers un Pacifique-Eldorado.
Un propos qui glisse sur les treize danseurs
Dans cette pièce, la narration et même la figuration tiennent le haut du pavé. Le tout relayé par une bande-son qui participe de l’atmosphère très cinématographique. Nasser Martin-Gousset installe une danse pétrie d’images, mais s’arrête en chemin : en résulte une danse construite sur des postures, des stéréotypes, voire des clichés, qui font certes immédiatement sens dans l’esprit du spectateur, mais qui relègue la danse à sa plus bête expression. A vouloir se coltiner à un processus qui a fait recette dans de précédentes pièces, Nasser Martin Gousset tourne court, se glisse dans un propos aussi lisse que le plancher qui lui sert de scénographie.
