Il doute. Il doit entrer dans la peau d’une icône des années 1970, l’acteur Patrick Dewaere, mais son expérience, ses aptitudes, sa vie personnelle lui semblent tout à coup beaucoup moins intenses, beaucoup moins incandescentes que celles de son personnage. Ce comédien est submergé par une vague d’angoisses et d’incertitudes. Il décide donc d’aller voir un psy. Nous le découvrons face à son thérapeute, jouant un dialogue imaginaire qui l’amène à redonner du sens à son métier d’interprète, à retrouver le chemin de ses envies et de ses inspirations, de sa confiance et de sa vocation.
L’intimité d’un acteur
« Le dispositif scénographique de Ludovic Billy est résolument simple, annoncent les membres de la Compagnie des Pas Perdus, collectif à l’origine de cette création. Il est là juste pour souligner les différents lieux de l’action et créer l’atmosphère qui, petit à petit, va mettre le comédien face à ses contradictions. » Ces contradictions sont l’occasion, tout au long de ce seul-en-scène interprété par Djahîz Gil et écrit par Julie Allainmat, de parler de l’intimité de celles et ceux qui se lancent dans la carrière d’acteur, d’explorer leurs relations paradoxales à l’interprétation et à l’art dramatique.
