La Scène Watteau / de et avec Bonaventure Gacon
Drôle de clown que Le Boudu, amer, triste, méchant, au bout de sa vie… Créateur du Cirque Trottola, complice de François Cervantes avec Les Clowns, Bonaventure Gacon fit naître il y a une quinzaine d’années ce clochard terrestre totalement atypique. Instinctif et viscéral comme peuvent l’être les clowns. « C’est une belle façon de causer de l’humanité d’essayer de rire de ce qui est dur. » confie le circassien. Pauvre bougre bavard et bourru, dépenaillé et désespéré, le Boudu se livre tout haut, devant sa grotte. François Chattot s’enthousiasme pour cet ogre-clown, clin d’œil à un autre clochard interprété par Michel Simon dans les années 1920 : « Le fait que ce soit un ogre fait qu’il met le clown dans une situation incroyable : faire rire au bord de faire peur. C’est un clown funambule entre le cauchemar et la farce. On se dit que ça doit être vraiment un ogre et en même temps, on a envie de le prendre dans ses bras et de le consoler de ses cauchemars. » A ne pas manquer !
