Les deux complices Hassan Razak et Mourad Bouhlali sont deux personnalités singulières qui œuvrent à la fois dans le champ des arts urbains, du théâtre et de la danse. Leur outil ? Les percussions corporelles dont ils usent et abusent avec la plus grande humilité : ils aiment à se taper dessus, mais comme ils le disent, « artistiquement » ! Le rythme et le corps sont au cœur de cette pièce, qui est un très bel hommage à la persévérance et à l’idée de croire en soi malgré tout. Le texte s’appuie sur les parcours de vie des deux jeunes hommes venus d’Avignon, racontant leur expérience de théâtre et l’affirmation d’une différence dans un contexte social et culturel peu encourageant. Le rapport aux parents, aux amis, à Shakespeare, tout y est balayé avec humour et poésie. La percussion corporelle apporte une virtuosité mais aussi une certaine étrangeté : elle affirme leur présence, bien ancrée dans leur sol, enracinée dans leur histoire, et à l’aise dans leurs baskets.
