Ce bon monsieur Jules Gravereaux, qui n’aimait rien davantage que regarder pousser ses fleurs, pouvait-il imaginer que le jardin de roses et de délices qu’il réalisa à la fin du XIXè siècle dans sa propriété familiale deviendrait un jour le théâtre de concerts de musiques des cinq continents ? L’édition 2009 de « Parfums de Musiques » joue des coudes et passe de 4 à 6 concerts. La programmation s’ouvre en traçant, le 6 juin, « une large diagonale au travers des expressions africaines, nous menant des traditions multiples de l’ile de Madagascar, avec le projet Ny Malagasy Orcestra jusqu’au répertoire mandingue revisité du mythique Super Rail Band de Bamako » souligne Didier Sendra, directeur du festival. Le voyage se poursuit le lendemain avec une création de la Compagnie Montanaro du musicien occitan Miqueu Montanaro qui rencontre le Kolektif Istanbul. Trois grandes voix du monde complètent finalement le programme du deuxième week-end : la jeune canadienne d’origine haïtienne Melissa Laveaux, Pura Fé aux profondes résonances amérindiennes, et enfin Mor Karbasi et ses relectures des traditions musicales juives du Sud de l’Espagne (respectivement le 13 juin à 17h et 19h et le 14 à 17h).
