Il y a tout juste un siècle, Paris se parait des couleurs tango, histoire de célébrer la bande-son des bordels de Buenos Aires. Parfums, musiques, danses… Des cabarets aux chansonniers, le tango va habiller la ville lumière. Cette déferlante sera suivie d’autres vagues aux mêmes effets de mode : Carlos Gardel, natif de Toulouse, connaîtra la consécration sous nos tropiques à la fin des années 20 ; Astor Piazzolla trouvera à Paris auprès de Nadia Boulanger sa voie, celle d’un tango revisité ; à l’orée des années 70, Gato Barbieri y inscrira quelques notes bleues d’un sulfureux dernier pas de deux… Et puis les Trottoirs de Buenos Aires ouvriront leurs portes. Aujourd’hui on ne compte plus les bals milongas et cours de danses qui fleurissent une ville maintes fois célébrée dans la thématique argentine, de “Rincones de Paris” à “Evocacion de Paris”…

C’est tous ceux-là que rappellent encore une fois ces trois jours de programmation (Juan José Mosalini Quintet, une nuit de tango avec un hommage à Piazzolla et pour finir des cours de danse ponctués par un bal avec les actuels champions du monde tango), trois jours qui regardent vers l’avant, en invitant la nouvelle scène rétro-futuriste. Dès le 16, la nuit Ouf (avec tireuses de cartes et coiffeurs !) convie ainsi certains des bidouilleurs de la nueva cumbia, le sound-clash tendance digitale qui agite Buenos Aires depuis une dizaine d’années : le malandro El Hijo de la Cumbia, le plus élégant Tremor qui représente le collectif ZZK, mais aussi le Bajofondo Tango Club et Supervielle. Entrez dans la transe !
