La prison, la torture et le train, l’arrivée au camp, la vie, la mort, l’espoir au quotidien, le retour, la mémoire: ainsi s’organise l’armature chronologique du spectacle porté par Laurent Cyr et Claire Assali et mis en scène par Karine Fellous. «Il s’agit de redonner vie à des fragments individuels» dit Laurent Cyr qui a choisi, parmi les poèmes recueillis par Yves Ménager pour l’édition de la FNDIRP et les Editions de l’Atelier, ces paroles singulières qui rappellent que l’humain que le nazisme réduisit en cendres portait un nom et un visage que la mémoire a l’impérieux devoir de saluer. Français, russes, résistants, juifs, hommes ou femmes, jeunes ou moins jeunes: le temps du poème, une personne s’exprime; l’écouter, c’est rendre hommage à sa dignité. Dans ce spectacle, les acteurs se font les messagers des mots et des pensées de ces victimes demeurées debout, loin de toute incarnation, dans la pureté et la sobriété d’un geste artistique tâchant de transcender l’innommable.
