SYMPHONIQUE / PARIS / RUNGIS
Avenue Montaigne mais aussi au Théâtre de Rungis, les Lamoureux placés sous la direction de leur nouveau directeur musical Fayçal Karoui invitent les légendaires Swingle Singers, curieusement très rares en France. Depuis 50 ans, et leur premier album dédié à Jean-Sébastien Bach paru en 1963, ces sept fous chantants très British aiment à flirter avec les frontières musicales. C’est la veine qu’ils explorent de nouveau avec un brio jubilatoire lors de ces deux concerts aux couleurs très latines, de Ravel, Albeniz ou Bizet à Piazzolla et Chick Corea. De son côté, l’Orchestre Pasdeloup poursuit sa collaboration avec le vibraphoniste Franck Tortiller, qui fut le remarquable directeur musical de l’Orchestre National de Jazz que l’on sait (de 2005 à 2008), en lui confiant la réalisation d’un arrangement inattendu pour trio de jazz et orchestre symphonique du Concerto en fa de Gershwin. L’œuvre est interprétée par Frank Tortiller (vibraphone), Yves Torchinsky (contrebasse) et David Pouradier (batterie) en lieu et place de la magnifique partie de piano initiale. Un pari audacieux et prometteur. Au même programme, la Too Hot Toccata de Aaron Jay Kernis et l’américaine Symphonie n° 9 « from New World » de Dvorak dirigés par Christophe Altstaedt.
