« Nous voulons proposer une nouvelle perspective du quotidien en mettant en scène le côté extraordinaire caché dans le sillon de l’ordinaire, affirment les fondateurs de la compagnie Les 7 doigts de la main. En plus d’émouvoir et de réjouir, nous voulons inviter les spectateurs à se questionner sur leurs perceptions de la vie et de la réalité, les inciter à réfléchir sur leurs valeurs et leurs espérances. » Campant un clown timide en quête d’amour et d’intérêt, Patrick Léonard – l’un des membres du collectif québécois – monte seul sur scène dans Patinoire. Il joue de son corps et des objets hétéroclites qui l’entourent, cherche à faire surgir le « joyeux désespoir qui nous habite ». « Fanfare pour un homme seul », « cirque d’infortune », ce solo poético-drolatique pose la question du rapport à l’autre : jusqu’où chacun d’entre nous est-il prêt à aller pour aimer et être aimé… ?
