De Pierre Rigal, on connaît les performances percutantes, en solo ou à plusieurs, dans lesquelles il se frotte au hip-hop ou au cirque, avec une scénographie souvent radicale. Il y a donc quelque chose de particulièrement réjouissant à voir ce jeune chorégraphe invité à créer dans le cadre classique de l’Opéra. Il entraîne la compagnie dans une évocation des multiples définitions du salut, qui donne son titre à sa pièce : du rituel théâtral à la signification religieuse, en passant par le « bonjour » familier, c’est un cycle total qu’il nous invite à expérimenter.
Danses sur la brèche
La soirée débutera avec Répliques, sur la musique minimaliste de György Ligeti, première œuvre de groupe créée pour l’Opéra de Paris par Nicolas Paul, en 2009 : le chorégraphe y questionne le double, le reflet, le miroir, dans un décor magistral de Paul Andreu. Enfin, Andréauria (2002) nous fera retraverser le vocabulaire virtuose d’Edouard Lock, qui renouvelle en profondeur le langage classique : sur pointes, alliant équilibres précaires et tours vertigineux, le chorégraphe canadien pousse les interprètes dans leurs retranchements – de même que les spectateurs, dont l’acuité perceptive est constamment surprise par ces mouvements inattendus, dont les contours ne cessent de nous échapper.
