OPÉRA-COMIQUE / NOUVELLE PRODUCTION
Pour l’Opéra-Comique, situé place Boieldieu, c’est bien le moins que de programmer une œuvre de ce compositeur français, né en 1775 et fils spirituel de Grétry. Son opéra La Dame blanche, adapté de deux romans de Walter Scott, Le Monastère et Guy Mannering, fut créé à l’Opéra-Comique en 1825 où il connut un franc succès et fut repris 1656 fois jusqu’en 1910 ! Son atmosphère écossaise et fantastique inspira à Donizetti sa Lucia di Lamermoor, à Bellini I Puritani, et même à Hergé la fin du Trésor de Rackham le Rouge ! Sous la direction de Julien Leroy, l’œuvre est ici donnée dans la mise en scène de Pauline Bureau et s’offre des interprètes aguerris au répertoire français comme Philippe Talbot (récent Comte Ory à l’Opéra-Comique), Aude Extrémo ou Yann Beuron.
