Formée au Conservatoire de Strasbourg, sa ville natale, puis au CNSM de Paris, tout commence très bien et très tôt pour Pauline Haas qui remporte, à l’âge de 13 ans, le 1er prix du Concours international Lily Laskine junior, ainsi que le Prix de la meilleure interprétation de l’œuvre contemporaine… Autre distinction importante, l’année suivante, elle empoche le 3e prix du Concours international de Lille. Derrière le profil idéal d’instrumentiste virtuose à qui tout réussit se cache aussi une personnalité musicale engagée désireuse de faire évoluer le répertoire et les limites de son instrument, notamment par la collaboration avec de nombreux compositeurs contemporains. Elle est la dédicataire d’une quinzaine d’œuvres et des compositeurs de la stature de Guillaume Connesson, Philippe Hersant, Nicolas Bacri ou Michèle Reverdy ont déjà écrit à son attention. Lors de ce récital solitaire intitulé « La harpe à facettes », accueilli dans le cadre de la saison « Jeunes Talents », elle voyage dans un programme morcelé et divers, entre raretés et grands classiques, de Bach à Villa-Lobos, de Mendelssohn à Fauré, de Hélène Breschand (née en 1966) à Edmund Schüecker (1860 – 1911).
