Une des rares occasions de voir le travail atypique de cette chorégraphe ! Ici, même si la référence à la Pavane pour une infante défunte de Ravel est très présente, le duo fonctionne également sur une composition de musique électronique et dans une recherche plaçant le corps dans des questionnements tout autant plastiques que chorégraphiques. L’ours en peluche tient un rôle central, tout droit issu des fantasmes de l’enfance, figurant une forme d’altérité tout en symbolisant la perte de l’innocence. Un objet chargé de représentations, qui elles-mêmes croisent des inspirations cachées et parfois violentes, comme des images issues du travail de Pierre Molinier, Hans Bellmer ou Annette Messager. Féminité et sensualité guident les relations homme-femme dans une violence sourde qui déplace le corps vers un face à face avec lui-même en tant qu’objet.
