Théâtre de la ville/ chorégraphie de Simon Tanguy
Champs des possibles autant que champs de bataille, le titre choisi par Simon Tanguy résumerait presque le travail qu’il mène depuis plusieurs années. Avec People in a field, le chorégraphe breton, interprète de Boris Charmatz et Maud Le Pladec, achève un cycle débuté en 2011 avec le solo Japan et le trio Gerro, Mimos and Him. Il explore inlassablement les états du corps à mesure que la vie le dévore : de l’éveil à l’agonie, en passant par le jeu, la relation à l’autre. « Mon travail chorégraphique recherche une traduction physique de cet “être traversé”, de cette turbulence humaine », explique-t-il. People in a field réunit cinq individus en errance. Simon Tanguy les soumet à plusieurs stimuli : le silence d’abord, la musique, jouée en live, l’image vidéo et enfin, le chant. La chorégraphie surgit de ces différents états, mosaïque de fragments qui cherche son unité, comme l’individu cherche sa place dans le groupe et l’homme le sens de sa présence sur Terre.
