Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis / Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil / perf. Hortense Belhôte
Hortense Belhôte, actrice, autrice et professeure d’histoire de l’art, a pour spécialité la « conférence performée ». Elle a d’ailleurs créé une amusante web série sur Arte Merci de ne pas toucher. A travers ces conférences, elle réalise des (re)lectures « volontiers féministe, queer et libertaire ». Mais dans son « cours spectaculaire » intitulé Performeureuses, elle revisite l’histoire de la « performance » en danse contemporaine. Hortense Belhôte propose de voir autrement les chorégraphies dites « d’avant-garde » et d’y apposer un regard décolonial. Car, selon elle, la danse contemporaine s’est constituée comme discipline « moderne » au fil de la découverte et de l’appropriation de théâtralités venues d’ailleurs, et aurait ainsi évolué dans un cadre colonial et postcolonial qui a pris soin de dissimuler ses sources. Cette conférence performée est donc selon elle l’occasion d’accéder « à une réunification salutaire où l’écoféminisme s’accorde au son du duende andalou et où le queer embrasse la mami wata ».
