C’est en valorisant l’idée d’arts mêlés que Périphérique se positionne dans le grand calendrier des festivals du mois de janvier. On y trouve à la fois de la danse, du théâtre, des arts plastiques, et, à l’intérieur de cela, des spectacles hybrides qui mettent toutes les écritures scéniques au service d’un propos artistique. Ajoutons à cela le mélange des publics, qui de 7 à 77 ans est invité à découvrir la création d’aujourd’hui… C’est d’ailleurs par un spectacle jeune public que s’ouvre la manifestation à la scène nationale de Cergy : Pierre-la-Tignasse est l’un des personnages imaginé par Heinrich Hoffmann parmi une galerie de têtes blondes pas toujours très sages. Il donne son nom au spectacle mis en scène par Gerold Schumann, avec la complicité de Bruno Bianchi pour la musique et la direction musicale. Un voyage dans le cerveau de l’auteur façon opéra, qui mélange les histoires, les chants, les musiques sous couvert d’un retour dans les paysages de notre enfance. D’une façon beaucoup plus simple, Eléonore Weber nous entraîne à travers une mise en scène de notre monde actuel, dans ce qu’il a de plus âpre et de plus cruel. Egalement auteure et réalisatrice, elle tisse une toile simple et belle autour de quatre personnages à l’aide de projections vidéo, comme l’évoque le titre Tu supposes un coin d’herbe.
De la danse, parfois en parfait décalage
Côté danse, la soirée spéciale « Sacre » convoque deux chorégraphes étrangers à confronter ensemble leur propre version de l’œuvre, l’une née dans les années 80, l’autre plus actuelle. A mi-chemin entre la grande fresque et le spectacle total, le Peplum de Nasser Martin-Gousset préfère s’attacher aux grandes figures de l’histoire à travers une danse « en costumes ». La suprématie et la décadence d’une société se traduit par une danse parfois débridée, des personnages forts et un univers très décalé au regard des productions conceptuelles du moment. Les références cinématographiques marchent à plein régime et font de Peplum un grand spectacle. Le décalage est aussi le fer de lance du Système Castafiore, dont les chorégraphes n’hésitent pas à brouiller les pistes en faisant de leurs productions des objets non identifiés. Certes, le corps reste au centre, mais parfois dans un dispositif plastique, lumineux, ou sonore, chargé et unique en son genre qui peut faire grincer les dents. Protokol Prokop est leur dernière création et tente de nous emmener aux frontières de la perception. Toute l’idée, en somme, de Périphérique.
