Inclassable et innovant, le Festival valdoisien Périphérique envisage la scène comme un champ d’expérimentation, propice aux mariages les plus surprenants entre diverses disciplines, convoquant réflexions intellectuelles autant qu’expériences sensorielles. Ici les artistes créent à partir des mots, des corps et des images, et cette modernité inventive questionne fortement le spectateur car les œuvres révèlent divers enjeux esthétiques mais aussi politiques, à travers le regard des auteurs et des interprètes sur le monde. Le théâtre de l’Apostrophe à Cergy-Pontoise est associé au Théâtre Paul Eluard de Bezons, et à la ville de Gonesse afin de diffuser les pièces dans tout le département. Le programme foisonnant compte plus de quinze pièces, dont certaines ont déjà tourné, tandis que d’autres sont à découvrir. Au programme, Sin Sangre de la compagnie Teatrocinema, explorant le désir de vengeance, Chouf Ouchouf de Martin Zimmermann et Dimitri de Perrot, qui rassemble douze danseurs du groupe acrobatique de Tanger aux prises avec les façades d’un labyrinthe, Sauf que de Franck Mas, qui a conçu sa création comme un bâtiment à étages que l’on gravit pendant le spectacle, architecture évoquant l’héritage et la filiation.
Cycle hypnotique
Compléments d’objets de la compagnie La bande passante met en lumière le travail du chercheur Eric Vabrok, l’un des pères de la mnémologie. Ni fini, ni infini de Roland Shön nous entraine dans une ronde poétique inédite animée par quatre saltimbanques bonimenteurs, aidés de machines à images. ôQueens (a body lab) de Michel Schweizer mêle les genres, de la conférence à la danse, et met en scène trois femmes qui, chacune à leur façon, exposent leur corps, – une danseuse, une culturiste et une strip-teaseuse. Une interrogation expérimentale de la condition féminine, le tout avec la voix off de chiens présents sur scène. Un petit à-côté du monde par L’Ange Carasuelo compagnie déploie une fable sur l’ombre inspirée par l’auteur Haruki Murakami. Daniel Linehan tournoie sur lui-même à vitesse variable et parle au public, proposant un cycle hypnotique impressionnant très fortement les spectateurs. Jean-Paul Rouvrais dans Une saison en enfer d’après Rimbaud défigure le corps de l’acteur jusqu’à évoquer Bacon, et entraine la langue vers des territoires inconnus. Un festival surprenant, bousculant l’intellect et les sens.
