En ouverture, Bartabas présente La voie de l’écuyer opus 2009 avec les écuyers de l’Académie du Spectacle Equestre qu’il dirige, sur des musiques de Bach. Un univers majestueux, précis et impressionnant, présenté pour la première fois en Allemagne. Retour au théâtre ensuite avec Frank Castorf et Der Jasager und der Neinsager (Celui qui dit oui, celui qui dit non) de Brecht, écrit en pleine montée du nazisme, mis en musique par Kurt Weill, qui s’apparente à une introduction à la dialectique et au pouvoir des mots. Inspirée par un conte japonais du XVe siècle, la pièce met en scène un petit garçon parti au-delà des montagnes chercher un remède pour sa mère souffrante. Lors d’un passage difficile, la coutume est d’être précipité dans le ravin si on échoue. Deux versions : l’enfant dit oui, il accepte d’être poussé dans le vide, l’enfant dit non, il refuse… Puis Cannibales mis en scène par David Bobee sur un texte de Ronan Chéneau montre un couple de trentenaires heureux d’être ensemble, plutôt bien installés, qui décide de s’immoler. La pièce développe une réflexion sur le lien qui unit ou désunit l’individu à la société.
Critique de la société spectacle
La compagnie Superamas, collectif d’artistes, présente deux spectacles hybrides, Big 3 (Happy-End) et Empire (Art & Politics), qui interrogent les mécanismes de représentation tout en élaborant une critique virulente et maîtrisée de la société spectacle. Dans un tout autre registre, qui fusionne théâtre, danse, cirque et arts visuels, la compagnie Zimmermann & de Perrot présente elle aussi deux pièces, Gaff Aff, manège vivant virtuose et facétieux, et Oper Opis, fantaisie délicate et parfaitement bien calée sur l’instabilité. La chorégraphe Stéphanie Thiersch s’interroge sur l’amour après la perte des tabous sexuels dans Cactus Bar, et Arnaud Anckaert met en scène Appris par corps, un duo de corps qui mêle “le spectaculaire et la poésie“, entre violence et douceur, et repousse les limites du corps. Un florilège de spectacles de qualité, et un événement emblématique des échanges culturels franco-allemands à découvrir principalement à Sarrebruck.
