Ce festival transfrontalier, attirant un public venu de France, d’Allemagne et du Luxembourg, convie talents émergents et artistes renommés, et affirme l’importance de la culture dans la Sarre et en Moselle. Les spectacles se déroulent cette année principalement à Sarrebruck, et pour quelques-uns à Forbach. Plusieurs coproductions s’inscrivent dans une programmation combinant éclectisme des formes et créativité débridée, montrant et signifiant comment les artistes aujourd’hui expriment leur vision de notre société. Invité phare de ce festival, le dramaturge et metteur en scène Falk Richter, présent l’an dernier au Festival d’Avignon, utilise la scène pour représenter notre monde dans ses dimensions économiques, politiques, individuelles et sociales, qu’il télescope dans une perspective ironique et corrosive, dénonçant notamment les travers du capitalisme. Au programme, Trust, créé avec la chorégraphe néerlandaise Anouk van Dijk, My secret garden, mis en scène par Stanislas Nordey, et Dieu est un DJ, mis en scène par Fabrice Murgia. Le journal d’un fou de Gogol, mis en scène par Hanna Rudolph du Deutsches Theater Berlin et interprété par l’excellent acteur Samuel Finzi explore les ressorts de la frustration et du désir.
Parcours chorégraphié
Autre monologue par un acteur impressionnant, Laurent Poitrenaux, Un mage en été d’Olivier Cadiot, mis en scène par Ludovic Lagarde, créé à Avignon l’an dernier. Philip Hochmair interprète quant à lui un monologue créé à partir d’Amerika de Kafka. Tagfish par le collectif Berlin élabore une video-conférence à propos d’un bâtiment industriel de la Ruhr classé au patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco, convoité par un cheikh saoudien. Le clown acrobate Camille Boitel échafaude un incroyable désordre où survivent les corps dans L’Immédiat. En danse, la chorégraphe argentino-berlinoise Constanza Macras crée Berlin elsewhere sur les frontières et enfermements qui régissent les individus. Questcequetudeviens ? d’Aurélien Bory questionne l’identité de la danseuse flamenco Stéphanie Fuster. A voir aussi le saisissant Press de Pierre Rigal. Contraint par une flagrante oppression, prisonnier d’un espace qui se restreint brutalement, un homme s’adapte et se contorsionne en une tragique – et néanmoins burlesque – acceptation de sa condition. Pour une réappropriation inédite de la ville, suivez les Bodies in urban space de Willi Dorner, où les performeurs proposent un parcours chorégraphié insolite. A découvrir aussi le formidable cirque Trottola, Hamlet machine par la compagnie Sans Soucis, sans oublier de nombreux concerts. Découvertes, partage et enrichissement mutuel au programme.
