Pour ce spectacle, le chorégraphe Kader Attou s’est replongé dans le trajet entamé en 2002 avec Pourquoi pas : un chemin vers ses souvenirs, dans lequel il convoque son père, la condition ouvrière, et les difficultés débusquées par un regard d’enfant, qui donne toute sa poésie au spectacle. Le temps est omniprésent ; la pendule à l’avant-scène marque le lien entre les saynètes. Inexorablement, le chorégraphe revient vers son passé comme pour mieux l’exorciser. C’est pourquoi l’humour, le burlesque et l’acrobatique sont les fondements de sa pièce, qui n’hésite pas à virevolter d’un corps à un canapé, en utilisant avec finesse tous les ressorts du spectacle. Mouvement, décor, textes et lumières forment une grande illusion, celle de nos rêves d’enfants tendrement échappés, mais qui subsistent et nous emportent ailleurs.
