de Racine / mes et interprétation Pascaline Ponti
Seule en scène, Pascaline Ponti fait entendre la partition racinienne avec un talent hors du commun, qui donne chair au verbe et le fait entendre avec une singulière acuité. En un souffle, elle passe d’un personnage à l’autre avec une habileté confondante. L’inflexion de la voix et le timbre changent, quelques détails aussi dans l’expression du visage ou la posture du corps, et immédiatement le relais a lieu. C’est magnifique. Le spectateur n’est jamais perdu et saisit la tragédie par la puissance de l’alexandrin. « Cette solitude me libère de l’identification. Les rôles, ici, sont écartés au profit du verbe. L’alexandrin devient l’unique protagoniste du drame. La voix change de timbres. D’où est-ce que ça parle ? Qui parle ? J’entends une voix, celle de Racine, une voix unique mais hantée. Je me tiens dans un état de disponibilité. Je suis une demeure transitoire. Je ne m’accapare rien. Phèdre, ce n’est pas moi. J’en suis l’interprète passionnée et désintéressée. » a-t-elle confiée dans nos colonnes. Le résultat est largement à la hauteur de son ambition, à la fois très haute et humble. En pantalon souple et tee-shirt, soutenue par quelques lumières, Pascaline Ponti réalise une performance exceptionnelle, d’une force sidérante.
