THEATRE DES CHAMPS ELYSEES / CONTRE TENOR ET ENSEMBLE
C’est en plongeant dans la grande beauté de la musique baroque vénitienne que se referme idéalement, à travers la voix de Philippe Jaroussky, la saison du 15, avenue Montaigne. Accompagné par l’ensemble Artaserse qu’il a fondé en 2002, notre génial contre-ténor national a concocté, en grand spécialiste du baroque vénitien, un incroyable récital en forme de florilège, riche en découvertes sur les pas des grands compositeurs du XVIIe siècle, dont les géants Claudio Monteverdi et Francesco Cavalli, mais aussi de figures beaucoup moins connues dont Jaroussky a déniché des petits trésors parfois inédits. Avec Barbara Strozzi, Antonio Sartorio et bien sûr l’incroyable Agostino Steffani (longtemps parisien d’adoption) que Cecilia Bartoli a beaucoup contribué aussi à redécouvrir, en particulier dans l’album « Mission » où elle chantait en duo avec un certain… Philippe Jaroussky !
