Célèbre chorégraphe de la scène helvétique, Philippe Saire cisèle depuis quelques années des spectacles qui naviguent entre danse et arts visuels. Passé maître dans la pratique de l’illusion, il reprend dans Hocus Pocus, destiné aux plus jeunes à partir de 7 ans, le dispositif créé pour sa pièce Vacuum. Deux néons horizontaux installés dans le noir du plateau forment le cadre d’un jeu d’apparitions et disparitions éblouissant, qui brouille les perceptions et les repères. De la naissance de leur amitié fraternelle à leurs folles aventures entre nuages célestes et tréfonds de l’océan, on suit avec émerveillement le voyage initiatique et féérique de Victor et Lukas, les deux protagonistes. Tissé dans une trame narrative qui sait aussi faire place à l’abstraction, Hocus Pocus, qui signifie en anglais abracadabra, ne pourrait mieux mériter son titre !
