Sous ce titre qui dit d’emblée l’essentiel, le pianiste Alain Bernard nous invite à une leçon de musique débridée remontant l’Histoire à tempo plus que rapide, de la musique médiévale à celle des séries tv et de Beethoven à la chanson contestataire… C’est dire s’il couvre un large spectre historique ! Longtemps associé à Smain, dont il fut le fidèle pianiste pendant 20 ans, Alain Bernard s’appuie sur son solide savoir-faire musical de touche-à-tout (il a écrit pour Céline Dion, composé pour le cinéma et excelle dans l’art du piano bar) et sur son sens de l’humour. Pascal Légitimus qui met en scène son spectacle confirme : « Depuis deux décennies, j’ai toujours vu ce pince sans rire à l’humour anglo-saxon égrener ses jeux de mots, son humour bonhomme, sa vitalité pudique dans les coulisses, lors de repas festifs ou en privé… Il fallait juste une envie, un déclencheur pour qu’il ose se lancer en solo ». Créé à Avignon l’été dernier, repris à Paris avec succès, Piano Rigoletto revient dans le off. A signaler, en conclusion d’un spectacle souvent désopilant (au risque par instants de petites fautes de goût vite pardonnées), une fin tout en tendresse et nostalgie…
