Le Triton / Festival / Pianos en tête-à-tête
Deux pianos à queue qui se font face, quasiment imbriqués l’un dans l’autre. Deux musiciens qui dialoguent et improvisent les yeux dans les yeux, partageant l’amour du clavier et confrontant leurs styles. C’est la bonne idée de « Pianos croisés », mini-festival que le Triton organise depuis 2006. Les paires formées pour cette édition sont diverses et intrigantes : le 8 février, Edouard Ferlet, fasciné par les possibilités sonores de l’instrument, rencontre Clelya Abraham, jeune musicienne qui se fait un nom avec ses frère et sœur dans le groupe Abraham Reunion ; le 9, Thierry Eliez, compagnon de route de Didier Lockwood et Dee Dee Bridgewater, partage la scène avec son dynamique cadet Laurent Coulondre ; le 10, Benjamin Moussay, auteur d’un remarqué solo sous le label ECM, se confronte à son confrère belge Jozef Dumoulin, singulier improvisateur s’il en est ; enfin le 11, l’inclassable Andy Emler rencontre Jean-François Zygel, soit comme il le résume « une phénoménale culture musicale classique face à un groovman « rocker de jazz » ».
