OPÉRA BASTILLE / REPRISE
En 2014, le public de l’Opéra de Paris découvrait la mise en scène de Pierre Audi dans le chef-d’œuvre de Puccini : Tosca. Une lecture qui « dépouille l’œuvre de ses habits d’apparat pour mettre à nu sa mécanique tragique parfaitement réglée, son horloge dramatique qui, du lever de rideau à la chute finale, se révèle d’une efficacité impitoyable. » Reprise à partir de mai, cette production s’offre en 2019 deux interprètes de choix : Jonas Kaufmann dans le rôle de Cavaradossi et Sonya Yoncheva dans celui de Tosca. Deux rôles qu’ils connaissent bien et qui conviennent parfaitement au timbre coloré du ténor et à l’ampleur vocale de la soprano. L’orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris est dirigé quant à lui par Dan Ettinger.
