NOGENT / JAZZ
Un octette né de la rencontre des amis jazzmen de longue date du saxophoniste (Stéphane Huchard à la batterie, Alfio Origlio au piano, Louis Winsberg à la guitare, Xavier Sanchez aux percus, Jérome Regard à la contrebasse) et d’artistes de la scène flamenco. « On a trouvé un son », explique le saxophoniste qui en se confrontant à un univers musical fortement codifié a stimulé sa créativité, en bousculant ses habitudes de compositeur et d’arrangeur surdoué. D’où le nom de son groupe : Caja negra, « comme la boîte noire d’un avion qui enregistre tout ce qui se passe et, lorsqu’on l’ouvre, retrace tout un voyage » souligne-t-il. Les images musicales rapportées de son périple regorgent de couleurs, de mélodies et de parfums. Un régal. Avec aussi Sabrina Romero (chant, danse), Paloma Pradal, Alberto Garcia et Melchior Campos (chant).
