Inévitable et indiscutable, Pierre Boulez reste la figure dominante de la musique de notre temps en France. Cinq concerts sont à l’affiche et offrent de remarquables opportunités de rencontrer sa musique, y compris sous sa direction. Ce sera en particulier le cas le 8 décembre à 17h30 puis le 12 à 20h, à la Cité de la Musique, où il sera à la tête de l’Ensemble Intercontemporain dans deux de ses classiques : Le Marteau sans maître (extraits) et Eclat/multiples. Fidèles de Boulez, l’Orchestre de Paris et son patron Christoph Eschenbach participeront également à cet hommage le 5 à 20h à Pleyel, puis le 12 (Rituel in memoriam Bruno Maderna) et enfin le 16 à 16h30 à la Cité pour un concert à deux orchestres avec l’EIC où la musique de Boulez entrera en résonance avec celle de L’Art de la Fugue de Bach revisité par des compositeurs d’aujourd’hui tels Benjamin, Mantovani et Dalbavie.
