Sous le titre « Oui » (album paru il y a un an chez Nocturne), Pierre de Bethmann semble pleinement accepter de relever le défi permanent de renouveler son projet musical. Depuis quelques années déjà, après l’aventure strictement acoustique du trio Prysm, il l’a prouvé en plaçant le son électrique du Rhodes au centre de sa musique, en trio et en quintet (les groupes « Ilium »), et plus récemment en sextet au cours d’une résidence à l’Opéra de Lyon. Un nouveau groupe et un nouveau son ont ainsi vu le jour autour d’une voix (Jeanne Added), un batteur (Franck Agulhon), un bassiste (Vincent Artaud), un guitariste (Michael Felberbaum) et deux saxophonistes (David El Malek et Stéphane Guillaume). Ce groupe d’élite réunissant la crème de la scène parisienne se met au service d’un répertoire ambitieux entièrement de la main du leader.
