Musique électroacoustique
La musique électronique a cet avantage : comme elle se passe d’interprète, elle est toujours disponible, pâte constamment prête à être remodelée par son créateur – ou par d’autres, tels les nombreux fils naturels de ce « père de la musique concrète » qui lui avaient rendu hommage pour ses soixante-dix ans en remixant son œuvre la plus célèbre, la Messe pour le temps présent. Quinze ans plus tard, l’habitant de la « Maison des sons » est toujours au commande d’une œuvre toujours redéfinie, recomposée de jour comme de nuit et qui, le temps d’un concert, prend une apparence nouvelle, fugace et partagée. Le Fil de la vie, présenté en création à la Cité de la musique, est l’occasion pour Pierre Henry d’une manière d’autobiographie par les sons : « Ce sera un voyage d’introspection, comme la décomposition de certaines de mes œuvres ; tout ce langage expressif parcourt comme un fil la gamme de mes états corporels et sentimentaux au cours de la vie ». Une musique, une œuvre où l’humain et l’humour ont toute leur place.
