Marie-Amélie Pierret est danseuse, mais on pourrait dire qu’elle est poète : dès l’entrée dans la salle de théâtre, où elle nous accueille vêtue d’une jupe-ballon et plongée dans un fascinant rituel, c’est une forme de poésie à regarder qu’elle nous offre. Et non seulement elle danse, mais elle fait vivre à ses côtés un curieux personnage, entre le singe et l’homme : l’exploration que mène cette créature sur le corps de l’interprète ouvre un monde de sensations, et libère l’imaginaire. Le corps devient un paysage à parcourir et à questionner ; chaque mouvement est une aventure. Et c’est dans le face à face que se construisent, conjointement, l’identité et l’altérité : prolongement, double de la danseuse, la marionnette est aussi son Autre, qui la renvoie – et le public avec elle, en toute simplicité – à des questions fondamentales. Qui es-tu ? D’où viens-tu ?… Et moi ?
