C’est l’un des rendez-vous du printemps, organisé par la Fédération des Associations de Musiques et Danses Traditionnelles et la Maison de la musique de Nanterre. Planètes musiques, donc, une autre manière d’entendre les sons qui bruissent de toutes parts, une autre façon de faire raisonner les connexions que tisse la toile planétaire. Pas de doute, ici, le pluriel des suggestifs compte pour bien mesurer l’érection de formes alternatives qui donnent un bel écho à la pensée foisonnante du philosophe Edouard Glissant, dont l’idée de créolisation prend tous ses sens, par essence multiples. « La créolisation est la mise en contact de plusieurs cultures ou au moins de plusieurs éléments de cultures distinctes, dans un endroit du monde, avec pour résultante une donnée nouvelle, totalement imprévisible par rapport à la somme ou à la simple synthèse de ces éléments. »
Filiation et invention
Ni concept, ni projet, la créolisation n’est pas à faire, ailleurs, demain. Non, elle est là, effective, invitant chacun à changer dans l’échange. Tel est le dessein de Planètes Musiques où tradition rime avec création, filiation avec invention. Ici l’héritage s’écrit au futur, s’inscrit dans la trace laissée par les aînés. On pourra encore le vérifier pour cette onzième édition qui fait la part belle aux musiques de la Réunion avec l’emblématique Danyel Waro et le fantastique René Lacaille, le percussionniste Sami Pageaux et son projet autour du griot, mais aussi des musiques portées par des figures qui reconfigurent les histoires dont elles sont les légataires. Comme Olli Mood, soit deux bretons aux limites de l’électronique et de la musique indienne, et Oneira qui brasse toute la Méditerranée avec pour vigie le percussionniste Bijan Chemirani, sans oublier le septet de Michel Aumont dont la « musique armorigène » fertilise le sillon profond de la tradition en Bretagne.
