C’était un projet audacieux, mais voilà maintenant quatre ans que le Potager du Roi à Versailles accueille cette manifestation où l’art contemporain se permet de belles échappées. Des artistes en roue libre créent pour cet écrin si particulier, d’autres choisissent d’inviter le public à participer à de grandes formes chorégraphiques, tandis que certains posent là leur écriture dans la grandeur du paysage. Cette édition rend d’abord hommage à Odile Duboc, née à Versailles, disparue il y a quelques mois, avec une présentation d’extraits de La Pierre et les songes, Boléro, et les Fernands.
Des créations en pagaille
Un focus particulier est réservé cette année à la chorégraphe Julie Nioche, dont on verra trois pièces : Les Sysyphe, avec cinquante participants amateurs, Matter of Fact, pièce pour huit femmes (qui fera un bel écho à Ciao Bella d’Herman Diephuis, présenté plus tard), et sa dernière création, Central Park. Autres créations à ne pas manquer, celles de Claudia Triozzi, de Myriam Gourfink et Yves-Noël Genod pour Convoi exceptionnel, un programme d’échange avec l’Afrique, et celle de la plasticienne coréenne Seulgi Lee. Le tout est à découvrir aux hasards des Nichoirs, conçus par douze déficients mentaux du groupe Attrap’Art.
