La Manufacture-Château de St-Chamand / Chor. Fabritia d’Intino & Clémentine Vanlerbergh
Quatre femmes sont sur le plateau, leggings noirs et torse nu. Parmi ces interprètes, il y a Fabritia d’Intino et Clémentine Vanlerbergh, les deux chorégraphes de la pièce, formées respectivement à l’Académie nationale de danse et à l’Ecole du Ballet du Nord. Pour Plubel, elles prennent comme point de départ leur expérience en tant que danseuse de corps de ballet, où le groupe anonyme et uniforme est au service de la soliste. Ainsi, elles interrogent la place du corps des femmes dans la création chorégraphique, soit dissimulé, soit surexposé. A travers une danse millimétrée et hypnotique, accentuée par la perception affûtée des danseuses, elles invoquent les vestales antiques, les choristes afro-américaines et les mannequins des défilés de mode, pour questionner comment l’individu peut s’émanciper du groupe.
