Liz et Alexandre se rencontrent en Allemagne, au sein de l’aéroport de Francfort bloqué par une tempête de neige. C’est le coup de foudre. Ils s’aiment, s’installent ensemble, projettent d’avoir un enfant. Mais, pour eux, fonder une famille devra passer par les voies ardues de la GPA. Le couple traverse donc l’Atlantique et rencontre Rose, une femme américaine qui se propose de porter l’enfant qu’ils désirent tant. Interprété par une troupe de dix comédiennes et comédiens, Pour Autrui déploie une dramaturgie du réel qui cherche à éclairer ce qui fait famille aujourd’hui en bousculant les préjugés sur la notion de don.
Un territoire d’inégalités
« J’avais depuis longtemps l’idée de faire un spectacle sur la gestation pour autrui, qui me semble l’un des territoires d’inégalités puissantes qui existe aujourd’hui dans notre pays », explique Pauline Bureau. Fidèle au travail documentaire qui a fait son succès, l’autrice et metteuse en scène a écrit Pour autrui après avoir rencontré des mères-porteuses, des femmes ayant eu recours à la GPA, une avocate spécialisée, une sociologue… Ceci afin de « mettre en récit notre monde dans ce qu’il a de plus contemporain », de « permettre à chacun de saisir les enjeux, les mécanismes, la beauté, les difficultés » du parcours de vie particulier que constitue la gestation pour autrui.
