Théâtre de la Parenthèse / conception et mes Julie Bertin et Jade Herbulot
Quels discours économiques et idéologiques, nous traversant, en viennent à nous déterminer ? De quoi est fait notre héritage ? Quelles inquiétudes traversent notre époque ? Construit comme un diagnostic, Pour un prélude se pose toutes ces questions en nous transportant, au soir du 31 décembre 1999, auprès de trois employés d’une entreprise de transport public (Eléonore Arnaud, Pauline Deshons et Loïc Riewer) devant faire face au danger du bug de l’an 2000. Soucieux de « tisser un lien sensible avec cet événement », les membres du Birgit Ensemble ont élaboré cette création à partir de vidéos, d’interviews, de chansons, d’improvisations, de témoignages, d’extraits de romans et de la Bible… Sur le principe d’une « comédie légère », Julie Bertin et Jade Herbulot ont ainsi tenté de « mettre en lumière une inquiétude autre que celle liée à la perte de données informatiques », de faire surgir les forces susceptibles de court-circuiter l’ordre de nos existences.
