Le collectif de la Dernière Tangente est né en 2000, autour de Bernard Garo, plasticien, Eric Fischer, musicien, et Fançois Chattot, comédien. Tous trois ont rapidement été rejoints par d’autres artistes et le collectif, basé à Nyon, s’est fait connaître par plusieurs performances et installations interdisciplinaires. Trois de ses membres – Bernard Garo, Eric Fischer et la danseuse et chorégraphe Satchie Noro –, entourés d’autres collaborateurs, présentent aujourd’hui Première détection certaine. Un objet hybride et qui ne recule pas devant les grandes questions : c’est l’idée de l’infini qu’ils abordent ici. Interroger l’éternité d’avant la matière, le mouvement, l’espace, les étoiles, les vivants… Ces problèmes métaphysiques deviennent des ouvertures poétiques, qui les invitent notamment à explorer l’apesanteur et le mouvement aérien : l’infini conduit alors à des questions corporelles, instaurant un rapport spécifique à la fois à l’espace et au temps.
