TOULON / MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE ET SYMPHONIQUE
En sept éditions, Présences féminines aura révélé l’œuvre de 89 compositrices, redonnant un peu de sa part féminine à l’histoire de la musique. Outre quelques figures reconnues – mais insuffisamment jouées –, telle Lili Boulanger (1893-1918) dont la jeune pianiste Célia Oneto Bensaïd jouera trois pièces, le festival fait revivre avec passion des œuvres tombées dans l’oubli. Ainsi cette année la musique de chambre de Rita Strohl (1865-1941), dont la redécouverte est inestimable pour bien connaître la musique française au tournant des 19e et 20e siècles. Présences féminines met également à l’honneur la jeune création avec deux commandes passées à Camille Pépin, lauréate en 2015 du Grand Prix Sacem de la musique symphonique (catégorie « jeunes compositeurs »), et un Orféo écrit par Silivia Colasanti, « concerto pour voix et musique » interprété par Natalie Dessay et le Paris Mozart Orchestra de Claire Gibault et accompagné par une réalisation cinématographique d’Axel Arno.
