FESTIVAL / TOULON
Depuis maintenant cinq ans, le Festival Présences féminines met en lumière la création musicale des femmes au fil de l’histoire, un « matrimoine » souvent resté dans l’ombre. Fondé par la claveciniste Claire Bodin, il décline un beau panel de manifestations dans la région toulonnaise. Le concert d’ouverture, au Foyer Campra de l’Opéra de Toulon, s’intéressera aux liens entre femmes – d’Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre au XVIIème siècle à Nadia Boulanger – et claviers, avec trois musiciennes respectivement au clavecin, au piano-forte et au piano. Une belle diversité de rencontres et de concerts attend les festivaliers, avec des programmes autour des contes fantastiques en musique et en littérature (le 16), des « Femmes d’humour » par Anne Baquet (le 17), des compositrices d’Europe du Nord, souvent peu connues en France à l’exception de Kaija Saariaho, par Karen Vourc’h (le 18), puis, le week-end, la création d’une œuvre lyrique pluridisciplinaire inspirée par la Corée, Un Chemin de sable blanc, de Marie-Hélène Bernard pour la conception et la musique et Robert Cahen pour la vidéo. Un festival unique en son genre, découvreur de trésors musicaux.
