OPÉRA BASTILLE / NOUVELLE PRODUCTION
Moins de six mois après sa Traviata, l’étincelante Pretty Yende revient à l’Opéra de Paris, sur la scène de Bastille cette fois, dans le rôle-titre de Manon (en alternance) où elle retrouve deux de ses partenaires : l’éclatant ténor Benjamin Bernheim (en alternance lui aussi), qui incarne le Chevalier des Grieux, et l’incontournable Ludovic Tézier qui endosse une nouvelle fois les habits de Lescault. Vincent Huguet, dernier assistant de Patrice Chéreau et diversement apprécié pour son récent Didon et Énée au festival d’Aix-en-Provence, signe la mise en scène de ce nouveau spectacle, s’attachant à souligner la mélancolie qui sourd de la partition de Massenet. C’est un fin connaisseur de la voix, Dan Ettinger (il a été chanteur dix ans avant de devenir chef d’orchestre), qui dirigera l’opéra-comique le plus populaire de Massenet.
