Issus de recueils de courtes scènes piquantes sorties de l’imagination burlesque et satirique de l’auteur israélien, ces moments de théâtre plantent des personnages en proie à leurs peurs, à leurs frustrations et à l’immensité de leurs désirs. Que ce soient les fantasmes d’un quidam au moment d’acheter un hot-dog, ou les jeux de pouvoir d’un balayeur se faisant passer pour un professeur en médecine, les saynètes de Levin mettent toutes en jeu des personnages misérables et attachants, extraordinairement perdus mais profondément ordinaires. En fait des êtres qui auraient perdu leur surmoi et s’exprimeraient à cœur ouvert.
Penser et rire sur la nature humaine
L’occasion naturellement de penser et rire sur la nature humaine mais aussi sur les rapports de pouvoir et de violence qui structurent les relations humaines et plus largement nos sociétés. Une matière théâtrale intelligente et drôle, où selon la tradition du cabaret, résonnent de nombreuses chansons composées par Bruno Girard. Masques, marionnettes et changements à vue pimentent le quotidien, et un accordéoniste côtoie, entre autres comédiens, la très drôle Manon Andersen.
