Isabelle, Françoise, Maeva, Henriette. L’un après l’autre, quatre personnages de femmes (appartenant à des générations différentes) nous ouvrent leur vie et leurs pensées, nous parlent « d’héritage et de transmission, d’ados rebelles, d’aînées modernes, de mères débordées, de filles débordantes ». C’est dans le cadre d’une résidence artistique au Sud-Est Théâtre de Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, dans le département du Val-de-Marne, que Catherine Hauseux a écrit Quand je serai grande… tu seras une femme, ma fille. Ce texte composé de quatre monologues a été conçu à partir d’entretiens menés, durant six mois, auprès de femmes de tous âges et de toutes origines. Questionnements sur l’idée de bonheur, de liberté, sur l’évolution de la condition féminine, sur la notion de rêve… Les quatre femmes interprétées par l’auteure et comédienne nous mènent jusqu’au particulier pour toucher à l’universel : en interrogeant leur passé, en envisageant leur futur, en tentant de mieux saisir leur présent.
