Bruno Meyssat : La finance est à mes yeux ce que la guerre et ses combines ont été pour Shakespeare quand il décrivait les hommes et son époque. Si l’argent et ses flux « génétisent » le monde où nous vivons, on doit pouvoir en partant de lui et de ses phénomènes bénéficier d’un point de vue cru et concentré sur notre humaine condition. Le théâtre se doit d’aborder le sujet de l’économie de marché déréglementée.
Pourquoi ce chiffre comme titre ?
B.M : Il s’impose. C’est l’actuelle injonction de rentabilité du capital par rapport au travail. Il représente une norme : R.Q.E : Return On Equity, retour sur fonds propres. Exorbitant, le pourcentage est à l’origine d’un dérèglement profond du secteur économique. Il contribue à installer des bulles financières, à épuiser des entreprises cotées en Bourse et, en bout de chaîne, à pressurer le maillon le plus vulnérable : le travail. En ce sens, il est paradigmatique de la façon dont notre société se rapporte à l’argent, de ses modes d’existence et des états de conscience induits.
Comment avez-vous conçu la dramaturgie de ce sujet complexe ?
B.M : Ce nouvel essai théâtral termine une trilogie en forme de réponse plastique à ce que provoquent sur nous les événements de la sphère géopolitique. Je l’ai ouverte avec Le Monde Extérieur en 2010 suivi d’Observer en 2011. La forme dramaturgique demande aux acteurs un gros travail d’imprégnation : du lu et du vécu. Ces trois pièces ont en commun de n’être ni une fable ni un documentaire. Le travail sur 15% a débuté par des séquences à l’origine improvisées sur un certain nombre de thèmes imposés, tels que « Sans Scrupules », « Comparer », « Qui veut ma maison ? ». Ces pièces sont des spectacles visuels, sonores, « phénoménologiques » ; ils tentent de montrer la chose même, ils livrent une expérience à vivre.
