Comment sauver cette vie et ce monde qui partent en charpie ? La critique et auteure de théâtre Anca Visdei qui a vu le spectacle Quareat Al Fengan d’après Copi, a été éblouie par le discours fleuve de cette figure charnelle, une vraie femme constellation. Le spectacle raconte la tragédie d’une pauvre et sublime dernière créature vivante : elle oppose aux dangers cosmiques qui la menacent son indestructible joie d’exister dont l’évocation passe par une sexualité délirante. Autour d’un verre d’eau et d’une tasse de café, Quareat Al Fengan ou Loretta – c’est du pareil à la même, car elle, c’est lui – lit dans le marc. La créature parle à la terre, raconte aux hommes et à l’univers tout ce qu’ils ont détruit, en dépit du bien et à cause du mal, de la famine, de la consommation, de la pauvreté, de la richesse, du racisme, des guerres, de la sexualité, du sida… Copi ne mâche pas ses mots pour accomplir une critique tranchante du monde dans lequel nous vivons. Anca Visdéi écrit : « Les outrances de ce spectacle, auquel il ne faut pas amener les chères petites têtes blondes, est moins dans les poses exhibitionnistes (qui font partie de l’univers de Copi) que dans la souffrance, la terrible douleur d’être au monde seul, incompris et désirant. Et cela seuls les adultes pourront l’affronter, car ils la connaissent. » Le comédien à la beauté stupéfiante joue d’une implication totale.
