MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE / NOGENT-SUR-MARNE
En moins de dix ans d’existence, ce jeune Quatuor fondé par des musiciens issus des CNSM de Lyon et Paris, a su trouver sa place autour du projet de défendre le répertoire du XXe siècle et la création. Ses deux enregistrements parus en 2013 (« Métamorphoses nocturnes » dans des œuvres de Ligeti et « Plier/ Déplier » consacré à une œuvre co-écrite par Thierry Blondeau et Daniel D’Adamo) ont beaucoup fait pour son rayonnement dans un paysage musical où les ensembles de très haut niveau ne font pas défaut. Invité de la Scène Watteau, ils ont construit un programme culminant avec le Quatuor nº 1 « Sonate à Kreutzer » de Leos Janacek, inspiré par la lecture de la nouvelle de Tolstoi, dont il épouse la subtilité pour aboutir au drame final… Une œuvre majeure, composée en 1923, de l’histoire du quatuor à cordes au XXe siècle. Au même programme, avant ce véritable « film » sans parole, des œuvres de Stravinsky (Concertino), Alfred Schnittke (Quatuor nº 2) et Chostakovitch (Quatuor nº 7 en fa mineur op. 108).
