MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE / THEATRE DE L’AQUARIUM
Les Leonis comptent parmi les formations chambristes françaises les plus engagées dans le décloisonnement musical à travers des projets croisés avec des artistes de théâtre ou de la danse ou des écrivains. On ne s’étonnera donc pas de les retrouver pour ce moment musical dominical, à l’heure du brunch, dans ce haut lieu du spectacle vivant qu’est le Théâtre de l’Aquarium, à la Cartoucherie de Vincennes. « Invité pendant plusieurs années au Théâtre de l’Odéon aux côtés d’Olivier Py, notre ensemble a eu la chance de vivre au rythme d’un théâtre, de partager ses moments d’effervescence et d’émotion. Ce fut le temps des rencontres, et l’occasion de porter un autre regard sur notre identité artistique, de prendre un autre chemin » confirme Guillaume Antonini, Premier Violon. Aujourd’hui, c’est dans ce lieu magique qu’est le Théâtre de l’Aquarium que l’aventure continue… ». Le Quatuor présente un programme consacré exclusivement à la musique du XXème siècle : Trois Pièces pour quatuor de Stravinski, Quatuor n° 3 de Bartók, Quatuor n° 2 de Nigel Keay (né en 1955) et, en création mondiale, le Quatuor n° 2 d’Alexandre Damnianovitch qui est aussi chef d’orchestre et directeur artistique du festival Classique au Large à Saint-Malo. Le concert est précédé par un brunch musical à petit prix…
