Si l’on excepte les prestations de l’Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, la musique classique reste le parent pauvre de la diffusion culturelle en Île-de-France où les grands centres culturels (et assimilés) font souvent la part belle aux musiques du monde, à la chanson et au jazz ! La saison culturelle de Pantin fait mentir cette loi générale en invitant aujourd’hui, à l’occasion de la tournée de célébration des 25 ans de l’ensemble, le Quatuor Ludwig. L’exemplaire parcours de cette belle formation a été marqué par de nombreuses réalisations discographiques repérées par la critique internationale, le plus souvent consacrées à la musique française (Chausson, Jehan Alain, Honegger, etc), mais aussi par un certain goût du vagabondage hors des chemins balisés, deux tendances qui se manifestent de nouveau dans ce programme dédié au Quatuor de Ravel, Espana d’Albenitz, Prière du Toréro de Turina et Four for Tango d’Astor Piazzolla.
