« Pour notre dernière année à l’Athénée, nous avons voulu que cette série de concerts soit le miroir le plus ressemblant possible de nous quatre : celui de la musique qui nous tient, nous travaille, nous nourrit, et celui des rencontres d’artistes qui nous touchent, nous questionnent et nous font grandir. Nous avons souhaité offrir, de Ravel à Enesco, de Mendelssohn à Widmann, de Beethoven à Bartók, un mélange fort et dense, qui rassemble et confronte des oeuvres qui nous accompagnent depuis longtemps, et d’autres qui se sont imposées à nous plus récemment. » déclarent les Psophos. Ce nouveau voyage musical débutera en compagnie du jeune musicien allemand Jorg Widmann (né en 1973), doublement présent en qualité de compositeur avec au programme son Quatuor n°4 et en tant que clarinettiste dans le Quintette pour clarinette et cordes en la majeur de Mozart. Au même programme, autre chef-d’oeuvre : le Quatuor à cordes en fa majeur de Ravel.
