QUATUOR A CORDES / 104 / ABBESSES
Cet étonnant quatuor français vient de surgir comme une étoile magnifique dans le ciel musical français, déjà parée de toute une série de récompenses marquantes. Il a reçu le Prix de la Presse du prestigieux Concours international de Bordeaux de manière impressionnante, après seulement une année de travail en commun (l’ensemble a vu le jour en 2009), puis en mars 2012, au Concours international Joseph Haydn à Vienne, les Zaïde ont raflé le 1er prix mais aussi 3 prix spéciaux dont celui, forcément très envié, de la meilleure interprétation d’une œuvre de Haydn… Un compositeur que l’on retrouve idéalement en ouverture du premier de leurs deux prochains concerts parisiens, le 8 juin à 17h aux Abbesses, avec l’opus 20 n° 1, suivi de la Sérénade italienne de Wolf et du Quatuor n° 15 de Schubert. Le lendemain, cette fois-ci au 104 par un étrange (mais heureux) télescopage de programmation, les Zaïde exploreront un tout autre versant de leur répertoire avec des œuvres de Stravinsky (3 Pièces pour quatuor à cordes ; Concertino pour quatuor à cordes), Charles Ives (Quatuor à cordes n° 2), Webern (6 Bagatellen opus 9) et Roslavetz (Quatuor à cordes n° 1 opus 6).
